Journeys

I design a small number of journeys each year, each shaped around pace, place, and feeling rather than volume.

What follows is a sample journey — an illustration of how a safari unfolds when experience, care, and restraint guide every decision.

A Sample Journey: Botswana

This journey is designed for those who value space, stillness, and presence over spectacle.

Botswana offers a rare kind of safari — one where wildlife encounters unfold naturally, landscapes remain unspoilt, and moments of awe are allowed to arrive without being forced. The rhythm is intentionally slow, shaped around light, water, and movement rather than schedules.

The Okavango Delta

Life in the Delta moves to the rhythm of water. Silent mokoro journeys glide through papyrus channels while wildlife appears quietly — elephants emerging from reeds, red lechwe splashing through floodplains, lions resting in the shade.

Camps here are chosen for their sense of immersion and restraint. Days unfold gently, leaving space for stillness, reflection, and the kind of awe that comes from being fully present in an untouched landscape.

Linyanti & Selinda (Private Concessions)

These northern private concessions offer some of the most intimate wildlife experiences in Africa. With few vehicles and vast wilderness, sightings feel personal and unrepeatable.

Time stretches here — long game drives without interruption, elephants moving in great numbers, predators behaving naturally. Camps are selected for atmosphere, guiding quality, and integrity rather than reputation alone.

A journey designed with restraint

This safari has been shaped slowly and intentionally, allowing each place to speak for itself. The intention is not to see everything, but to experience enough — deeply and well.

Botswana rewards those willing to slow down. It is a place where awe is not manufactured, but protected.
